Ophthalmic Surgery and Robotic Technologies

Technological innovation continues to transform ophthalmic surgery by improving precision, visualization, and procedural control. This session focuses on advances in microsurgery, robotic-assisted systems, image-guided procedures, laser technologies, and minimally invasive surgical techniques. Discussions will cover applications across cataract, retinal, corneal, glaucoma, and other ophthalmic procedures. Advanced surgical visualization and intraoperative imaging may support more accurate decision-making and improved outcomes. Robotic technologies and computer-assisted systems may provide new opportunities for complex and highly precise procedures. Experts will also address surgical training, safety, ergonomics, cost, and clinical implementation. The session provides a platform for surgeons and technology specialists to share experiences and emerging research.
