Cornea and Ocular Surface Diseases

The cornea and ocular surface play essential roles in maintaining clear and comfortable vision, while disorders affecting these structures can significantly impact quality of life. This session explores current advances in the diagnosis and management of corneal and ocular surface conditions. Topics include keratoconus, corneal infections, dry eye disease, corneal dystrophies, ocular inflammation, and surface disorders. Advances in corneal imaging, transplantation, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine will be discussed. Modern surgical techniques and minimally invasive approaches may provide new opportunities for improving visual outcomes. The session will also consider innovative therapies for restoring ocular surface health and managing chronic conditions. Researchers and clinicians will share emerging findings and practical experiences.
