Dr.Milan IZÁK is the former Head II of eye clinics Slovak Medical University Hospital FD Roosevelt in Banska Bystrica. He is an internationally recognized authority in the field of ophthalmology. He is the member of many prestigious international medical organizations. He is the member of the editorial boards of several international peer-reviewed scientific journals. He is the pioneer and inventor of many new diagnostic and therapeutic, in particular microsurgical techniques in Slovakia and Czechoslovakia.
